Blatchford has a range of Orion3 packages available for NHS clinics in England that enable patients to be prescribed with an Orion3 MPK plus a range of Blatchford prosthetic feet for a single price.
Orion3 and Blatchford Hydraulic Technology work well together to deliver the best clinical solution for patients with above knee amputation or hip disarticulation. The combination of Orion3 and Blatchford hydraulic ankle technology provides a smooth, safe and natural walking experience which helps to preserve the body and prevent long term health issues.

Package 1 – Orion3 with choice of feet*
Package 1 includes an Orion3 full limb build with a 5 year warranty, certification and a choice of 4 feet to choose from which come with a standard 3 year warranty outlined below.

Package 2 – Orion3 with EchelonVT foot*
Package 2 is for patients who would bene t from the stability and safety offered by Orion3 in combination with the shock and rotational absorption properties of EchelonVT, giving you greater choice in providing the best clinical solution for patients with above knee amputation or hip disarticulation.

Package 3 – Orion3 with Echelon foot (Extended Life Package)*
Package 3 offers a great opportunity to provide a 5 year clinical solution for patients with above knee amputation or hip disarticulation. The 5 year Package includes both the Orion3 knee and Echelon foot and combines cutting edge prosthetic technology with specialist certified training.

Package 4 – Orion3 with EchelonVT (Extended Life Package)*
Package 4 provides the opportunity to offer a 5 year clinical solution for patients with above knee amputation or hip disarticulation. This 5 year Package includes both the Orion3 knee and EchelonVT foot and combines advanced prosthetic technology with specialist certified training.

Please note: Trials for Package 1 which are currently underway may be ordered as ORION3NHSP3 on completion of the trial in order to take advantage of Package 3. Customers who are already in receipt of Package 1 will have the option to benefit from the new extended life of Package 3 offer by upgrading the current Package 1 to Package 3 for £1,000 before the end of the current Echelon warranty period.

Package 1 consists of an Orion3 knee with 5 year warranty, the adapters, tubes and cosmetic foam required for a full limb build, choice of Echelon, Epirus, Esprit or Javelin foot, certified training course and assisted patient fitting following certification. The cost of this package is £11,495.
A new unit will be issued upon identification of a suitable trial patient. Once a successful trial has been completed the patient can keep the unit. There will be no need for the unit to be returned. Standard warranties apply for all components (excluding the Orion3 and Echelon 5 year warranty). This offer is valid from 01/04/2019. Valid for those patients who are benefitting from the NHS England MPK funding.
